1. Controller and contact details

Represented by Managing Director Arwed Dück
Email: contact@zoom-logistics.de
For questions about data protection or to exercise your rights, you can contact us by email or at the postal address shown.
2. Visiting the website
When a page is accessed, technically necessary connection data is processed. This includes, in particular, your IP address, time of access, requested address, volume of data transferred, response status and information about your browser and operating system. This processing serves to deliver the website, analyze errors and protect against abusive access. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is safe and reliable operation.
3. Hosting
The website is provided on ZOOM's existing web server. Public access passes through an upstream gateway at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Technical processing serves secure delivery, error analysis and protection against attacks on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Technical logs are retained only as long as required for operational and security purposes or statutory obligations.
Information from the infrastructure provider: Hetzner Privacy Policy.
4. Cookie settings and local storage
Our website code uses no statistics or marketing cookies and loads no analytics or advertising pixels. Your selection in the cookie window is stored under the key zoom-privacy-choice-v1 in your browser's local storage. The setting “necessary functions only” and the time of your selection are saved. You are asked to select again after six months. You can change this at any time via “Cookie Settings” in the footer or delete it in your browser.
Storage takes place solely to respect the privacy selection you requested and avoid displaying the window on every page. The basis for this access to your device is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG; the associated processing serves our legitimate interest in implementing your selection under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The contact form additionally uses the security cookie described in Section 5.
5. Project inquiry
When you submit the inquiry form, your company, contact and project details are transferred over an encrypted connection to our web server and sent as a message to contact@zoom-logistics.de. Mailboxes are processed on our mail server. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR to prepare a contractual relationship; for contact person data, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR additionally applies, with the legitimate interest of business communication.
To protect the form, a random session identifier is stored in the technically necessary ZOOMFORM cookie. It associates the security token with the session, applies only to the API path and expires with the browser session. The basis is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. To limit abusive inquiries, the server processes an IP-derived check value and the times of submission attempts for ten minutes. This is based on our legitimate security interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Form details are not permanently stored in your browser. Required fields allow us to give a meaningful response; the form cannot be submitted without them. Storage and deletion of the received message are governed by the information on email contact below.
6. Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your sender address, other contact details provided, message content and any attachments to answer your inquiry and handle business matters. The basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual matters, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR with the legitimate interest of responding to business inquiries. Email links open your own email application; a message is sent only by you.
Inquiries are deleted when processing is complete and no further legitimate purposes or statutory retention obligations require continued storage. Correspondence relevant to contracts and accounting is retained for the applicable commercial and tax law periods. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
7. Recipients and confidentiality
Within ZOOM, only those involved in processing have access to the details submitted. Data is passed to service providers insofar as necessary for communication, technical operation or carrying out a commissioned logistics project. Authorities and other entitled recipients receive data only on a corresponding legal basis. Additional data protection and, where necessary, processing agreements are made for each project when carrying out a logistics order.
8. External content and customer portal
Fonts and images are delivered locally or with the website files. Maps, videos, social media plugins and external marketing services are not embedded. External links transfer data to the destination site only when opened. The customer portal currently has no login and processes no inventory or customer orders. Information about the actual account and data functions will be added before activation.
9. Your rights
Subject to statutory requirements, you have the right to access your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to object: You may object to processing under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then assess whether compelling legitimate grounds or the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims justify continued processing.
10. Complaints and further information
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For North Rhine-Westphalia, you can contact the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, via www.ldi.nrw.de/kontakt.
